Nana's Wish creates and supports programs and services that empower individuals and promote healthy lifestyles.
Nana's Wish Youth Leadership Award
Established in September 2009, to recognize outstanding youth programs. The inaugural recipient, the Chula Vista Parkview Little League, 12 years and under won the 2009 Little League World Championship.
Nana's Wish Speakers Bureau
A resource of volunteer community members who speak on personal experiences relating to high-risk behaviors, conflict resolution, alcohol and substance abuse and intervention, youth tobacco usage and intervention, gang and domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, advocacy and self-improvement.
Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt
A program designed for low income women to increase their access and utilization of health care services, housing, financial literacy and supportive services.
Communiity Lay Health Educators
A project in support of Every Woman Counts program in identifying and recruiting community women to be trained as breast and cervical cancer community educators.
Books for Youth Detention Centers
A donation project of paperback books for kids in juvenile hall. To date over 1000 books have been collected and everyday we continue to receive book donations,
